Nurse Aide
Our Nurse Aide program is a comprehensive program designed to prepare you in the skills and procedures necessary to provide basic care in a healthcare facility or a patient’s home. You will be able to interact effectively with patients, assisting them in attaining and maintaining maximum functional independence, while observing patient rights. You will also be able to perform basic first aid, CPR, take vital signs, apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting and turning patients and apply the elements of basic nutrition in measures. This program emphasizes the skills required to help you pass the Texas State Certification as a Nurse Aide for employment.
